Michelle Martinez is a 2nd year master's student at University of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and Environment with a focus on Environmental Policy and Planning. Her research focus is in international policy and governance with an interest in community involvement in the policy process. She is a 2007 CILER Summer Fellow working with Drs. Kashian and Sano on stakeholder participation and fish contamination. Ms. Martinez is concurrently working with International Forestry Resources and Institutions at University of Michigan with Dr. Arun Agrawal. She has a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Social Anthropology from the University of Michigan, and is a native Michigander.
